History:
Cho Chang (born c. 1979) is a student at Hogwarts, sorted into Ravenclaw House. She is a Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.
Parents: Zhou and Min Chang
Siblings: Khan Chang
General History:
Cho Chang was born in London, England on a stormy autumn night in 1978. Her parents, having immigrated from China just years before, had a difficult time adjusting to life in England, but Cho and her brother grew up among the British and picked up not only their accents but also their personalities from the outside influences. Her brother, being a great many years older than her, was already in school by the time Cho was five, though he had no desire to attend Hogwarts: instead he attended an all-male Wizarding school. With both her parents involved in the magical world, Cho eagerly awaited the time she'd first go to Hogwarts and start her magical education.
The moment she could walk, her older brother had her on a broomstick to aid him in honing his own skills as a Keeper. Her father allowed this for a few years until it became clear it wasn't just a hobby and that Cho intended to play the sport at her new school. He immediately forbade it, and thus Cho became very practiced at lying to her parents about where she'd be. Still, it was difficult to get out on the pitch for any reason. Therefore, during his third year, her older brother nicked a Snitch for her as a gift--it later became one of her most prized possessions. Disregarding a few minor events where her Snitch ended up in the refrigerator, down the bathtub drain, and in her brother's underwear drawer, Cho's early Quidditch training went smoothly and without discovery by her father.
By the time she got to Hogwarts, she was thoroughly practiced in snatching the golden ball from the air, though she was relatively unskilled at flying--as a result, she wasn't placed on Ravenclaw's team until her third year at Hogwarts, but that was still plenty of time for her to play. Her fifth year she was disappointed to find that there would be no Quidditch, but instead the Triwizard Tournament. When Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter were chosen as champions, she was both intrigued and frightened for them. After a lengthy relationship with Cedric throughout the entire fifth year, which included millions of conversation about both deep and shallow subjects, she found herself very much enamored with him and looked forward to seeing him on a daily basis--only to have him torn viciously away from her at the peak of her happiness. To say she was shattered would be an understatement.
As the school year abruptly ended, Cho was devastated by the sudden loss, and sunk into a silent depression, refusing invitations to leave the house and speaking little more than was absolutely necessary. Two weeks into the summer, she attended his funeral with a feeling of disbelief, and had no room left to sink deeper into confusion. It wasn't until the next year that she was ready to discuss it--and by that time, Cedric's death was practically old news to everyone but her. Everyone but her--and Harry.
She began to admire him for his courage, standing up against the Umbridge witch, and found in him a kindred spirit--or so she thought. The relationship cooled considerably after Marietta's little trick, and though Cho understood why Marietta did it, deep down she rather wished she hadn't--she was back to the drawing board. When she returned home that summer, her brother was waiting, and this time he wouldn't take no for an answer. She finally explained and talked and cried out her problems on her own hero's shoulder, and got on with her life.

Cho ran her fingers through her hair, sighing breahlessly. She set her book back down onto the desk and tried to keep her eyes open. She was still studying for her exam tomorrow and was having trouble focusing. She bit her lower lip and re-read the sentence in front of her.
The potion is used for the attempt of making psycological mind transfunctions through the accusation of the purposeful changes there for are continued by the physical antidotes.
This had to be the hundredth time she had read this same sentence. She was having trouble programming it into her mind. She closed her book and decided to do it in the morning, when she could actually keep her eyes open.
Cho got up from her chair and gathered her belongings, placed them in her bag and headed up to her dorm. She set her stuff on her closed trunk at the end of her canopy bed and quickly changed. She made her way under the covers and snuggled into the sheets. She fell asleep right away and dreamt of one person who she admired...: Harry Potter.
