Ginny gave a short yawn as she got off her bed and looked around at her room. It was barely noon and Ginny has just woken up. She stretched her arms a little, and then opened her curtains to reveal a gorgeous sun. Now that Harry and Hermione were at the Burrow, the summer was finally really here. Though a certain Phlegm ruined a major part of it.
Ginny slipped on a pair of jeans that had been lying on her floor and walked quietly out of her room. She looked around, and making sure that she wasn't walking anyone who might still be asleep, creeped down the stairs an into the kitchen. She looked out of the window above the sink, and yet again, saw no one. "Guess I'm the only one up." she said in a mumble.

Ron awoke with a start, looking around his room. He had just had another nightmare about spiders. He scowled as he wiped the sweat off his brow, wishing that the nightmares would stop. They cut into cherished sleeping time. Not able to sleep anymore, he pushed the covers back and ran his fingers through his hair, stretching his cramped muscles. Looking out the window, he wondered what time it was, and why the house was so bloody quiet.
Careful not to wake the sleeping Harry, he closed his door lightly, heading down the squeaky stairs of the Burrow. He made his way into the kitchen to see Ginny standing there. "Guess I'm the only one up." She muttered. Ron smiled before he spoke.
"You shouldn't talk to yourself. People will think you've gone mad."
Ron said simply, walking past her. He knew that he probably scarred her. He took a glass out of the cupboard and filled it with water, gulping it down greedily.

"You shouldn't talk to yourself. People will think you've gone mad." Ginny heard from behind her. She turned around and saw Ron there. At least it was only him and not Harry. "I think I know that." she said. He had given her a little shock since had almost come out of no where. Not that he could apparate.
"Is Harry up yet?" she asked him. If he was, she probably would go outside and avoid him as best as she could. Unless he came to talk to her personalily.
(so short sorry >.>)

Ron finished the water in his glass and placed it in the sink. He turned back to his little sister and sighed.
"No, he's still sleeping. You really should talk to him, you know."
It was a bit annoying, having to play the middle man between them. Harry was aways asking him to talk to Ginny for him. Ron now knew how Harry felt whenever He and Hermione got into a fight. Ron walked over to the table and sat down, looking at the cupboards as though they would produce food for him.
"I'm hungry, why is mom still sleeping."
He said, resting his head in his hands.

"I'll talk to him when I want to. Anyways, I never manage to catch him at a time when he's alone." she said glaring at Ron as though it was all his fault. In a way it was. Every time Ginny wanted to talk to Harry, Ron was always there ready to spoil the moment.
"I'm hungry, why is mom still sleeping." she heard Ron ask. "Blimey Ron, if I knew I'd have told you no?" she said rooling her eyes. Sometimes Ron could be so...stupid. "Why don't you go wake her? Bloody sure she'll wake up." Ginny said grinning. She knew that if Ron went to wake her up he'd have it for weeks. Fits, screams everything.

Ron frowned at Ginny. It wasn't his fault that he wanted to spend their last summer with his best friend. Ron thought that she was jealous, but had no right to be. If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have even got together anyways. Ron let out a small sigh, wondering where Hermione was.
"Yeah, i'd go and wake up mom, then I'll dig a grave."
Ron said, standing up to walk over to the cupboard, pulling it open. In sat a loaf of bread and other random cooking items, which Ron had no idea how to use. He pulled out the loaf of bread and a large knife, cutting off a very badly cut slice, shoving it into his mouth.
"Id Herione ub yeb?"
He meant to say 'is Hermione up yet', but his mouth was so full of delicious bread that he couldn't speak properly. [/sup]

Ginny merely shrugged. "Dunno. Didn't take the time to look over at her bed when I woke up." she said in answer to Ron's question. Somehow, Ginny always knew what he meant. Truth be told about Hermione, Ginny was rather sure that Hermione was still sleeping. She hadn't heard any words from her except for breathing, so or she was awake pretending to be asleep or she really was asleep.
She leaned back on the table and crossed her arms. "So. Any sightings from Phlegm lately? Not that you'd care. You'd be delighted to see her." Ginny said grinning. She knew that the only person at the Burrow who actually really liked Fleur were Bill and Ron. Probably because he never had a girlfriend and Fleur was as close as he could get. Ginny smirk at the latest thought.

Ron stuffed down another piece of badly cut bread, hiding his frustration towards his sister. At least he checked to see if Harry was still asleep. She couldn't care less about Hermione. Ron glared at her when he heard the next words come out of her mouth.
"Don't call her that!"
He said defensively. He didn't know what everyone had against Fleur. She was always really nice to himself. And plus, she had never done anything to Ginny to make her not like her brother's finance.
"And she'd be more of a delight to talk to then you right now."
Ron said, his defenses still up. He didn't mean for his words to sound so cruel, but Ginny had started it!

Ginny couldn't help but give a snort. "I'll call her what I want to call her. And anyway, your the only one in this house who actually likes her!" Ginny said. It was true. Her mum couldn't stand being in the same room as Phlegm, and neither could Hermione. Her father was barely at home, so she didn't know about him.
"Yeah right. Even a gnome Fred and George taught to talk would be better conversation." she said rooling her eyes. She knew that the only words her twin brothers had taught the gnome were those that you'd never use in front of mum. It had been funny though. Watching the gnomes jump around and say all those words. Ginny would never forget the look on her mum's face.
