(Not the DH one, happens after the ring incident. Just a little extra something *is bored*)
For a midsummer night, there was an awful chill in the air. Darkness had fallen into the little town of Godric's Hallow. The street lights flicker gloomily. Dementors were roaming, breeding and feeding off the increasing fear of humankind.
The Dark Lord had returned. Of course, people would be frightened out of their wits about it. Some were smart to not fear him but fight him...like Severus, one of the last type of person on the planet you would ever believe was fighting against him. He didn't care, let them believe what they want, Dumbledore's word was enough to shut them up...but for how long?
His days were numbered...probably have been since that night 15 years ago. Wrapping his traveling cloak a bit closer, he walk with a quicken pace, turning down a path that took him further away from the center of town where had he had apparated and into a rural area.
It was a strange sight to see such an ill-nature person like Severus walking down the streets of Godric's Hallow. He kept muttering something under his breath. Something about a field and summer. It had been years since he last seen the place he was searching for. Godric's Hallows indeed brought too many bad...and good memories. But tonight, he felt he needed to be here, see that beautiful place a young girl once showed him, just this once.
He went to the left quite suddenly, moving off the path. Strange thing to do since if he had continue down that path, he would've reach his destination quicker...
Eitherway, he soon reached the place he was looking for. The clouds move to let the moonlight brighten the clearing as he came closer.
It was a field...glistening white. What could possibly make a field glisten with so much white? Severus didn't seem at all bothered by it, even if his black clothes made him stick out like a sore thumb. He walked slowly down into the sea of white. A tiny water droplet fell from one of white petals as Severus knelt down to examine it.

Dark violet cloak sweeping the ground behind him, a tall thin wizard was making his way quite slowly toward was seemed like an ordinary graveyard with the only path in or out of it being the path being moved upon by the wizard. No muggles, or no-magic people knew that there was a little uncleared path leading to a field. A field which had helped two little kids in particular escape the horrible events going on in their home.
Feeling a slight chill run up his wand arm, Albus Dumbledore turned around to see a Dementor gliding slowly toward him. “Not tonight. Not tonight.” He said in a hushed voice. With great difficulty and pain, he raised his right arm, pointed his wand at the oncoming Dementor. The silver form of a phoenix burst out of the tip of his wand and headed for where the Dementor’s heart would have been had it had one.
“I do believe that leaving me alone would have left you unharmed.” He said again in his hushed voice as though the Dementor could understand him. Dementors had been one of the many things that Dumbledore had never understood completely. He had never known from where they had come from, or exactly how happy the memory must be to push them away. He only knew what everyone else knew. Maybe a little less than Lord Voldemort, who seemed to know what to offer them for their services.
Continuing his way through the barely visible path, he soon arrived at a field full of what seemed like white clouds. Since he had lived in Godric’s Hallow in his late childhood and early teens, Dumbledore knew that these were white lilies. No other flower was better to represent the previous residents of Godric’s Hallow. One in particular.
Lily Evans. A gifted muggle-born witch who had been the best of her year at Hogwarts. She had excelled in Potions, an ability which she had not seemed to have passed down to her only child. She had been quite bright too. Perhaps muggle-borns were meant to be the best students of their years. Perhaps like Mrs. Lily Evans-Potter or Ms. Hermione Jane Granger who was currently at Hogwarts. It was sort of funny how things like that happened.
“I had a feeling that I would be seeing you here, Severus.” Dumbledore said in a calm voice looking out a few feet away from him where a man was bent down in the lilies. He had a good feeling he knew why Severus was here, in Godric’s Hallow. He was sure he knew why he had decided to come in this particular field when there were far more prettier ones a few miles away.
He had always known that Lily Evans’s first wizard friend had been Severus Snape, as Severus’s had been Lily. He had always known there was something a little more than friendship between them, and he had been sad to learn when the two weren’t speaking anymore. Many years ago.

"...you shouldn't be out sir, but good evening..." Severus seem a little agitated that Dumbledore had made his appearance during a time he needed to...to think stuff over. His hand had jerked away from the flower he was examining when Dumbledore spoke as if it had stung him. Rubbing his hand a bit, Severus settled himself around the Lilies with his back to Dumbledore. He seem to have lost himself, stroking one of the petals of a nearby lily absentmindedly. The expression on his face unreadable.
The flower was so cold to the touch.
"This bloody mist is terrible," he muttered irritably, almost to himself. Still, he avoid looking at Dumbledore. He was at a vulnerable state, and Severus never did like to show any signs of weakness. After what had happened in the Headmaster's office, he was surprise he hadn't crack from the stress yet.
"How is your arm?" He asked quietly, warming up the flower he was stroking.
