Picking Up Shifts [OPEN]

The Three Broomsticks was a place many of the Hogwarts students hung out in on their trips to Hogsmade. However over the summer in the lonesome months of August, not many students actually came down to the small shopping area. Except for those who work in the pub and shops. Ashley Jacobson, happened to be one of them.

As her summer began the Slytherin had decided it was best if she started saving from now. Making a name for herself in the world would be hard, and she knew that from the start. But if life was willing to meet her half-way, then Ash was willing to take it. Walking down the 'busy' streets she crossed, and walked into the pub.

Of course the place was empty, and had not yet picked up the drunken men who had come out of their way to be here. Ash slipped on her uniform, and grabbed a note pad. If someone was to show, her boss had said in the beginning of summer, then Ash was to serve them. If they sat themselves at the bar, then she was to play bartender and offer them a drink.

On nights like tonight it was rare someone would join her during her shift, simply because there was no business and they decided not to show. Taking a seat behind the bar, she waited for the sound of the door to open as she filed her nails.
